In the Lok Sabha session, addresses are being made from the opposition and the opposition regarding the Constitution. Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi also presented his side in the House and during this he fiercely attacked the ruling party. On the other hand, Bharatiya Janata Party also surrounded the Congress Party. BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad fiercely attacked Congress. The BJP leader said that they talk about human rights of Afzal Guru, we talk about human rights of martyrs.
Attacking opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, Ravi Shankar Prasad said, “Those who made the Constitution were great people, I salute them. Why are two names never discussed? Why are the names of Sardar Patel and Maulana Azad ever discussed?” Since then I was wondering when the opposition leaders will take the name of Sardar Patel, when it is 75 years since Dr. Ambedkar received it in 1989. I want to say that if Sardar Patel had not been there, there would have been more than 500 princely states, all of them were merged into India, but later Narendra Modi had to fix them. “
He said that Kashmir is the crown of India. What was discussed? Who was Valmiki who wrote Valmiki Ramayana? Who was Saint Ravidas? Where have we connected ourselves to God through our own greed when we understand the heritage of India? What did the makers of the Constitution of India think that the common man of India should have the right to decide the policy of India? We have to salute them that no matter caste, no religion, no worship system, no education, no rich or poor, no who is ahead and who is backward, everyone will get the opportunity to vote. What is the biggest lesson of 70 years? Today, the common citizen of India knows that we can win someone and defeat someone with the power of our vote.
The BJP MP said, “There was dialogue in the Constitution. Parliament is the largest panchayat in the country. Dialogue also means that we listened to you, so when our PM comes, listen to us also, do not back off. He said that we lost, we became weak. The historic victory that has been achieved in Maharashtra, after 1971, no one has got such a majority till date. This must be understood. In Haryana, we won for the third time, even after 41, we won with a higher majority. This means that the public thought that whoever does good work will make him the PM not once or twice but also for the third time.”

He said, “Opposition leaders carry the Constitution with them. The Constitution must be crying that brother, where will you take me, leave me somewhere. Today I also want to show them the Constitution. If the Constitution of India had been made today, there would have been an attempt to bring these pictures in this Constitution, how much uproar would have been created. Where did we start and where have we gone.”
The soul of the country cannot compromise with its heritage: BJP
He said that the soul of this country can never compromise with the heritage of its country. Were there statues of King Edward and Queen Victoria all over Delhi or not? Where did those statues go? Everyone was removed. Because those statues were not statues of art, they were statues of the story of slavery. You made a decision, you did a good job. Why can’t this happen for Lord Ram and Krishna? This is vote bank politics. They got trapped in vote bank politics. Look at where you are and where we are in 78 years. This country will run through nationalism, dedication and development.
They talk about human rights of terrorists and about us martyrs: BJP
The BJP MP said, “He talks about human rights. He talks about human rights of Afzal Guru. Did he ever talk about the human rights of the families of the security personnel who were killed? Do his children and his wife have any human rights or not? You fight for the human rights of terrorists, we will fight for CRPF, BSF soldiers. Everyone lives for the country, who dies? These are security personnel. It is important to tell from where secularism was brought. The makers of the Constitution understood the heritage of India. He knew that India’s heritage was to respect opposing views. India’s heritage is secular.”
What did Ravi Shankar Prasad say on Emergency?
Regarding emergency, he said that let’s talk about emergency. It has been my good fortune to have been in RSS. Have worked in All India Council for 13 years and I also participated in Bihar movement under the leadership of Loknayak Jayaprakash. We were beaten so badly that even today I feel pain when I remember it. Bhabhua was leaving home, 10 policemen came, picked him up, threw him and put him in the jeep. I fainted after eating petrol. Have seen all this. This is a struggle, I have faced lathicharge and bullets, that is why I have reached here. There is no reason to sit in anyone’s family.
