Travis Head Century Brisbane IND vs AUS 3rd Test: Travis Head has again become a cause of trouble for the Indian team. He has scored a brilliant century in the third test being played in Brisbane. This is the 9th century of Head’s Test career and the third overall against India. Apart from scoring a century by hitting a total of 13 fours in his innings, he also sent Team India on the back foot. This century of Head is also memorable because he had become the victim of golden duck in the last three innings played in Brisbane.
This is Travis Head’s second century in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024 and this is the third time in the last five innings that Head has scored 50 or more individual scores. Earlier, he had played an inning of 140 runs in the Adelaide Pink Ball Test. At that time, when Mohammad Siraj bowled him, the heated exchange between the two became the center of discussion all over the world. He also played an inning of 89 runs in the second innings of the first match of the series played in Perth.
Travis Head came to bat when Australia lost the wicket of Marnus Labuschagne at the score of 75. There India could have put pressure on the Kangaroos, but Travis Head had come up with a strategy of counter attack. He scored runs quickly in his regular style and the Indian bowlers looked helpless in front of him. He has made a partnership of more than 150 runs with Steve Smith.

Travis Head has set another record during this century innings. He has now become the 13th Australian batsman to score one thousand or more runs against India in Test cricket. The batsman who scored the most runs in test matches against India was Ricky Ponting. Ponting had scored 2,555 runs including 8 centuries in 51 Test innings against Team India. Whereas Head currently has 3 Test centuries against India in his name.
