US President Donald Trump has decided to impose 35% tariffs on goods coming from Canada. Trump on Thursday announced this by sending a letter to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
According to the letter, the US will apply new tariffs on Canada from 1 August 2025. Trump also warned that if Canada responded to this, this tariff would be further increased.
The US has already imposed 25% tariff on Canada in March 2025. This step is considered to be a major rift in the decades -old business and diplomatic relations of both countries.

50% tariff imposed on Brazil

Trump’s tariff on 21 countries in 2 days will be applicable from August 1
