Among this alliance, America shares the most intelligence. After this, Britain is the second country which gives the most intelligence. The role of Canada, Australia or New Zealand is very limited.
Different responsibility of each one in 5 eyes countries In 2020, a Canadian intelligence officer wrote in a magazine related to a military intelligence that every country associated with five eyes has different responsibilities. Australia covers South China, Indo-China and its close neighbors; Britain is in charge of Africa and some European countries; New Zealand collects information about Western Pacific countries, while Canada looks at the case related to Russia.
