Lakheri SHO Subhash Sharma said that last night a complaint was received about theft from the transformer in the Housing Board Colony of the town. When the police reached the spot on the information of the guard, Mahavir Suman and Monu Gujar, residents of Bhand Gwar, were held by the guard and other people. One of these accused was initially calling himself a media person. Later, the police seized about 60 liters of transformer oil in two campers from them.
Police have arrested both the accused. On the complaint of JEN, a case of theft was registered and a can filled with oil and a bike were recovered from the accused. Police are interrogating the accused regarding the incident. For the last few days, there were complaints of theft of oil and equipment from transformers installed in the fields in the area.
