During this month of March, people of the Muslim community keep fasting (fast), during which they work for about 13 to 14 hours without eating and doing their day. At the same time, the Government of United Arab Emirates (UAE) has made a very special announcement for the jobs on the occasion of Ramadan.

The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Human Resources and Amiratikaran (Mohre) shared information about this announcement with its official handle on social media platform X on Monday (February 24). The ministry said, “The Ministry announces a 2 -hour shortage of 2 hours in daily hours of work for private sector employees during this month of this holy Ramadan. Companies can decrease in working hours during Ramadan according to the needs of their work and its nature. ”
According to the UAE government’s statement, during the Ramadan in the United Arab Emirates, it will not be only 5 to 3 hours but will remain only 5 to 3 hours. In this, the shift of the work in Ramadan, especially on Friday, will be only 3 hours from 9 am to 12 pm and in other days of the week, the shift will be of 9 am to 2:30 pm i.e. 5 and a half hours.

70 percent can give work from home
The UAE government has also allowed companies to give work from home to 70 percent of its staff. The purpose of the government behind giving all these concessions is to take special care of the productivity and health of the employees during Ramadan. Apart from UAE, countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar etc. have also taken such steps. At the same time, some state governments in India have also cut hours of work for Muslim employees.
