Three Indians working on H-1B visas in the US at Abu Dhabi Airport were stopped from entry into the US. At the same time, US officials canceled their H-1B visas. These people spent more time with permission in India.

One employee lived in India for nearly three months, while the other over-stay for more than three months. These Indian citizens also had a letter issued by emergency proof and employees to justify over-station, but still the authorities asked them to return to India.

One of the three affected employees shared a post on social media, which is going viral. In this post, the affected employee wrote, ‘We had a lot of trouble in American immigration in Abu Dhabi.

We were canceled the H-1B visas of three people, as we stayed in India for more than two months. The Attorney refused the entry and sealing the visa on 41.122 (h) (3) according to the seal, sealed the visa and sent us back to India.

Visa canceled despite emergency proof-uplift email

The employee also reported that despite showing the emergency proof and the company’s approval email, the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at Abu Dhabi International Airport canceled his visas.

The H-1B visa holders are allowed to stay a maximum of 60 days out of the US, that too with a ‘valid region’. However, to avoid the cancellation of the visa should not stop more than 30-40 days.
