Us tarifs on china: US President Donald Trump ordered to increase the 10 percent tariff already imposed on Chinese imports to 20 percent. The decision was taken when the Trump administration took action against the failure of Beijing’s illegal fennel trade. Before double the tariff on China, Trump announced on Monday (March 3) that 25 % tariffs would be imposed on imports from Mexico and Canada from Tuesday (March 4). Trump made this announcement while talking to reporters at the White House. During this, he clearly said, “There is no place left for Mexico or Canada.”

Mexico-Kanada for one month’s defense
In February, Trump gave a one-month deferment by giving concession to both countries (Mexico-Canada). However, on Monday (March 3), he made it clear that no exemption will be given now. He said that there is no place left for Mexico or Canada. The purpose of this tariff is to deal with illegal migration, drug smuggling and border-related concerns.
Suspended tariff resumed
Trump imposed a 25 % tariff on Mexican and Canadian imports on 1 February, but was temporarily suspended on 3 February, when the two countries promised to address border-related concerns. However, last week Trump announced that this tariff would be re -implemented from Tuesday (March 4). Trump explained the reason for illegal migration and concerns to stop the flow of illegal drugs.
Mexico retaliation
In an attempt to escape the tariff, Mexico handed over several notorious drug Lords to the US last week, including a cartel leader. This leader was accused of killing an American agent. This step was an attempt by Mexico to maintain a better relationship with the US, but Trump still decided to put the tariff.
