External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar attended Trump’s swearing-in ceremony from India’s side. Regarding attending the swearing-in ceremony of the US President, Jaishankar said that it is a great honor to represent India.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar represented India at the event as the special envoy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He arrived with a letter written by PM Modi to US President Trump. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar wrote on social media platform

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had posted on ‘X’ congratulating Donald Trump for taking oath as the 47th President of America. PM Modi had said that I look forward to working together once again, to benefit both the countries and create a better future for the world. Best wishes for a successful tenure in the coming year.

Well-known businessmen of the world also attended Trump’s swearing-in ceremony. While American businessmen like Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg were present at the event, Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani also attended the event from India, who were given a prominent place at the event. Apart from this, Ashish Jain, MD of Pune real estate firm Kundan Space also participated.

Many heads of state also attended Trump’s swearing-in. Argentina’s President Javier Meili and Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni attended the event.
