VHT 2024/25 Mumbai won in 33 Balls: On December 26, a Group C match of Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024/25 was being played between Arunachal Pradesh and Mumbai in Ahmedabad, in which the Mumbai team showed an amazing game. Apart from bowling, Arunachal Pradesh team was not allowed to stay on the field even in batting. Mumbai was captained by Shardul Thakur, whose team defeated Arunachal Pradesh in just 33 balls.
Arunachal Pradesh collapsed for 73 runs
After winning the toss, Mumbai team decided to field, which proved to be correct. Arunachal Pradesh, who came to bat first, had a very bad start. No player from Arunachal Pradesh could score more than 17 runs. For Arunachal Pradesh, Yab Nia scored the highest score of 17 runs in 10 balls. Apart from this, Tachi Doria could score only 13 runs after facing 48 balls. The entire team of Arunachal Pradesh was all out after scoring 73 runs in 32.2 overs.
Mumbai bowlers showed dominance
Except Vinayak Bhoir, all the Mumbai bowlers took wickets. Apart from captain Shardul Thakur, Harsha Tanna, Himanshu Singh and Atharva Ankolekar took 2 wickets each. Royston Dias and Suryansh Shedge took 1-1 wicket, leaving Mumbai with a target of only 74 runs.

This target proved to be very easy for the Mumbai team which came out to chase the target. Mumbai opener Angkrish Raghuvanshi scored unbeaten 50 runs in just 18 balls at a strike rate of 277.77. Mumbai achieved this target in just 5.3 overs and scored 77 runs after losing one wicket. After which Mumbai was successful in defeating Arunachal Pradesh by 9 wickets.
