State Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced help for the former Indian cricketer. According to reports, Kambli has no other source of income apart from BCCI pension. Deputy Chief Minister Shinde announced to give Rs 5 lakh to former cricketer Kambli. Kambli will receive Rs 5 lakh from Shrinkant Shinde Foundation. As per the order of the Deputy Chief Minister, Rs 5 lakh will be given next week.

Dr. Vivek Dwivedi, who is treating Kambli at Aakriti Hospital in Thane, said on Tuesday that Kambli’s mental condition is not stable.
