UP CM Yogi Adityanath Statement: CM Yogi Adityanath surrounded the Mamta government over the violence in Murshidabad, West Bengal. He accused the opposition of misleading the Waqf law. CM Yogi said that violence is being instigated in the name of Waqf.
Violence erupted during the protests over the Waqf law in Murshidabad, West Bengal. So far 3 people have died in this. The Bengal police arrested more than 150 people in the case.
What CM Yogi said on Murshidabad violence
Today (April 13), the newly appointed Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Samman ceremony in Lucknow by CM Yogi. During this, he raised the issue of Murshidabad violence. CM Yogi said that land was looted in the name of Waqf, occupied millions of acres of land. He said that we wonder that this (West Bengal) is the same state and country where millions of acres of lands were forcibly occupied in the name of Waqf. Now that the Waqf Amendment Bill has been passed in Parliament and action is being taken on it, violence is being instigated against it. 3 Hindus have been brutally murdered in Murshidabad, West Bengal. He has been murdered by pulling out of his homes. Who are these people? These are Dalit, underprivileged and poor Hindus who are going to get the most benefits of this land. “
‘All tortured and afflicted Hindu Dalits living in Bangladesh’
CM Yogi said that 3 years ago, Rajya Sabha MP and former Uttar Pradesh DGP Brijlal wrote a book. The book was based on the comparative study of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar and 2 great Dalit warriors at the time of independence. Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar was on one side and on the other side Yogendra Nath Mandal … Yogendra Nath Mandal supported Pakistan but he could not live there for a year. Bangladeshi Hindus are still suffering for the acts of Yogendra Nath Mandal. All the tortured and afflicted Hindus living in Bangladesh are Dalits. No political party from Congress, SP and TMC raised his voice in their (Bangladeshi Hindu) side. Only the BJP raised his voice in his favor.
The Chief Minister said that the BJP wants to protect every Hindu, so formed the Citizenship Act. Hindus from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan got citizenship of India. Some parties work to oppose it. Parties like Congress, Samajwadi Party and TMC always obstructed it. These people worked to make him a second -class citizen.
He said that even in the Waqf amendment, these people are committing violence, threatening, attempts are being made to create chaos because they are afraid that if the land comes back to the revenue account, the poor will get it. Hospitals will be built, good centers of medical colleges, Shishra. The poor and the underprivileged will get good opportunities to study there. Therefore, these people are not letting it forward.
