Voting is going on from 9 am on Friday for the election of the posts of President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Executive Member, Library Member and Treasurer of Alwar District Bar Association. Voting will continue till 5 pm. Counting will start from 6 pm. There are total 1644 voters.

Election officer Virendra Tanwar said that as per the court order, voting for the Bar Association elections is going on throughout Rajasthan. Four candidates are in the fray for the post of President of Alwar District Bar Association. Which includes Anil Vasistha, Ravi Kumar Sharma, Abhimanyu Singh Chauhan, Mahadev Prasad Jangid. Ramlakhan, Virendra Kumar Yadav, Krishna Gopal Sharma, Satish Kumar Sharma, Vikram Singh Shekhawat are on the post of vice president. Candidates are contesting for other posts. Since morning, candidates and their supporters have been seen in the court premises demanding votes from the coming voters. Everyone is trying to win over each and every voter in their favor. Voting is till 5 pm. Counting will start from 6 o’clock. Results will be available by late night. Last year also the counting went on throughout the night.
