Prashant kishor: The Waqf Amendment Bill will be introduced in the Lok Sabha at 12 noon after the Question Hour on 2 April. Earlier, opposition parties are strongly opposing this and are calling it unconstitutional and against the interests of Muslims. Meanwhile, Jan Suraj Party founder Prashant Kishore has reacted. At the same time, Nitish Kumar has a scathing attack.
Prashant Kishore, the architect of Jansuraj, said that describing the Waqf Amendment Bill as unfortunate, he said that a large section of Muslims is feeling scared by the Waqf Amendment Bill. The government is making this law in a hurry for the politics of clutches. He said that people like Nitish Kumar are standing in support of the government, so they are able to bring this law.
Government is making laws for polarization politics- PK
Prashant Kishore, the founder of the Jan Suraj Party on the Waqf Amendment Bill, says, “This is unfortunate. I do not consider it against Muslims or Hindus … If you deviate from the commitments and assurances that our founders gave to different sections of this country after independence, then it is the responsibility of the people of this generation to be true to those commitments. If you are making any changes in them that affects a class, then those classes should be taken into confidence before making such laws. A large section of Muslims feel scared of the Waqf Bill. I think the government is making this law in a hurry for polarization politics.
‘Laws are made with the support of leaders like Nitish’
He further said that the government does not have a majority in the Lok Sabha. They are able to bring this law because people like Nitish Kumar are supporting the government. If leaders like Nitish Kumar do not vote in support of this bill in the Lok Sabha, then the government can never make it a law. The BJP does not consider Muslims as its vote bank, does not consider them its support. But people like Nitish Kumar, who tell Muslims every day that they are friendly to the community, must think whether they are not doing this? He said that are the people who talk about Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia and Jai Prakash Narayan are showing their hypocrisy by voting in support of this bill? When this era will be written in history, then more leaders like Nitish Kumar than BJP will be convicted for this law.
What did PK say on Nitish Kumar’s silence on Waqf Bill?
Prashant Kishore says, “This is Nitish Kumar’s old strategy. He voted in support of CAA-NRC. I was a member of his party at that time. This decision was taken in the party meeting and Nitish Kumar had said in detail that we strongly oppose it. But in Parliament, votes were cast in support of CAA-NRC. When I faced Nitish Kumar directly, he told me to tell the journalists that the bill would not be applicable in Bihar, he was on a journey and he does not know how his leaders voted in the Lok Sabha. At that time I felt that this man is not loyal to anyone, neither towards the BJP nor towards Muslims. This is their old strategy to please and fool all classes. People are looking at this character of Nitish Kumar and are now bored with it.
