
John ratcliff: The person who was nominated by President Donald Trump for the post of CIA Director has been approved by the Senate. This person is John Ratcliffe. Just after winning the US presidential election, Trump announced to make Retcliff a CIA director. Now when voting took place in this regard in the Senate, 74 votes were cast in favor of Ratcliffe, while 25 senators cast their votes against them.
Ratcliffe has previously held many big positions. He was the Chief of National Intelligence during Trump’s previous President’s tenure. He has also been a part of the US Parliament. Now he will work as the director of the world’s number-1 intelligence agency (CIA). Please tell that he is one of the closest people of Donald Trump.

Who is John Ratcliffe?
Ratcliffe Law is a graduate from school. By the year 2004, he performed private practice as a lawyer. Just after this, he was elected the mayor of ‘Heath’, a city in the US state of Texas. He was the mayor of Heath from 2004 to 2012. Meanwhile, between May 2007 and April 2008, he also served as the US Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas.
In 2014, Ratcliffe was selected for the US Parliament ‘House of Representative’. He was a member of its member till 2020. Meanwhile, on 28 July 2019, the then President Donald Trump expressed his desire to make him the next National Intelligence Chief, although the Trump could not do so due to opposition to Retcliff in Republican Senators. A few months later, Trump again nominated him for this post. On 26 May 2020, he was sworn in as the director of National Intelligence. He was able to serve only 8 months on this post. With Biden becoming the next President, Evril Hens was appointed as the director of National Intelligence.
