ICC imposed a fine
The ICC added demerit points to Darren Sammy as a fine of 15 percent of the match fee. West Indies fast bowler Jeden Seals also imposed a 15 percent fine of match fees. He made some gestures after dismissing Pat Cummins, due to which he was punished.
West Indies captain Roston Chase also objected to the decisions of the umpire, saying that the players get punishment for wrong but nothing happens to the umpire. Many decisions of not one but third umpire were disputed in this test. On the first day, the ball went to wicket keeper Shai Hope with the edge of Trevis Head’s bat, when this catch was investigated, the third umpire gave it out.
