There was a speculation that they would be included in the A grade after retiring from T20I, but according to a report by the Times of India, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja will remain in A+ grade in the next session as well.
How much money are available in BCCI’s Central Contract?
- The retainership fee in Category A+ is Rs 7 crore
- Category A: Rs 5 crore
- Category B: Rs 3 crore
- Category C: 1 crore rupees
Explain that a player may join the central contract list, if he plays three Tests or eight ODIs or 10 T20 matches in a calendar year, he may be considered for the next session.
