Yashasvi jaiswal out champions trophy 2025: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released the final 15 -member squad of Team India for the Champions Trophy 2025 last Tuesday (11 February). There were 2 major changes in the final squad. The first change appeared as fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah. Due to injury, Bumrah got out of the tournament and Harshit Rana was made part of the team in his place. At the same time, the second change was made out of the left -handed opener batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal.
It is worth noting that Bumrah was excluded from the Champions Trophy due to injury, but Jaiswal was fully fit and he also played the first match of the three -match ODI series against England. Despite this, he was included in the Non Traveling Reserve by excluding the team’s 15 -member squad for the tournament.
Regarding the change on Jaiswal on behalf of BCCI, it was said that spinner Varun Chakraborty has been included in the squad in his place. Earlier, Varun was also made a part of Team India in the ODI series being played against England.
