During the discussion on the Constitution in the House, Union Home Minister Amit Shah fiercely targeted the Congress party. He cornered Congress regarding constitutional amendment. He also got angry over the agreement made with Sri Lanka regarding Katchatheevu. The Union Home Minister said that you consider the party as the property of a private family, but you also consider the Constitution as the property of a private family.

Lashing out at Congress over Katchatheevu, Amit Shah said, “If anyone wants to take land, Article 1 will have to be amended. The land portion has been defined in Article 1.
