Happy Relationship Study: It is often said that if you keep your partner happy, then your life will also be happy. Usually this is seen to be seen, because if your partner is not happy, then your happiness also waves. Now the research has also confirmed that the prosperity of any house is possible only when the couples living in the house are happy. In a recent study published in the journal Psychonuroendocrinology, it was found that the good mood of the life partner i.e. spouse is a guarantee of happiness.
Researchers analyzed data from 321 couples in Germany and Canada and found that when someone’s partner felt more excited than normal, it led to a decline in their cortisol hormones. This hormone is a stress hormone and harmful to the body. If the level of this hormone declines, then the mood will be better and you will be happy. The effect of the partner being happy is more in those elders who were satisfied with their long and happy life. However, one important thing was that its opposite effect was not seen. If the mood of either of the couple was bad, it had no effect at the cortisol level of his partner.
The study was particularly conducted on the elderly joints, whose age was between 56 and 87 years of age and the average duration of their relationship was 44 years. These couples found ways to protect each other from the effects of negative emotions in their long-lasting relationship. In such relationships, where the two companions live longer with each other, they help improve each other’s mood. This study is important, because it can be difficult for the elderly to control their mood with aging.
After stressful incidents, cortisol in the elderly remains at high levels for a long time and aging brain struggles to stop it. This study suggests that a happy partner and long -term relationships can act as a psychological buffer for the mental health of the elderly. This is not the first time science has studied the influence of a happy partner. A study in 2016 also found that being a positive and happy partner in life is beneficial for a person’s mental and physical health. Similar results were also revealed in the 85 -year -long Harvard research project, in which it became clear that a happy marriage can be the key to living a long and healthy life.
