
Union Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Bhupendra Yadav said on Sunday that youth can improve their physical and mental health through sports. Yadav inaugurated 154 development works and sub-health centers worth Rs 9.36 crore in 44 gram panchayat of Mundavar Panchayat Samiti during a visit to Khairthal-Tijara district on Sunday.
The Union Minister informed that the Panchayat Bhawan will be developed as a multipurpose center so that the villagers can get the benefit of various services at one place. Bhupendra Yadav, informing the villagers about the side effects of plastic, appealed to stop its use. He also emphasized on maintaining cleaning of homes and public places.
He said that ‘MP Khel Utsav’ has been launched to develop sports culture in rural areas, which has been attended by more than 20,000 children and demonstrated their sports skills. He gave the message of the youth ‘to be a hit, stay fit’.]Yadav pledged to work towards making rural women self -reliant and asked to make them financially empowered under the ‘Lakhpati Didi’ scheme.
He said that the central and state governments are continuously working for rural development and more schemes will be implemented in the coming time. He informed that the government is promoting steam education by combining science, technology, electronics and mathematics. He said that if students take interest in these subjects from the beginning, then they will be able to perform well in medical, engineering and other technical fields.
Yadav said that today’s era is of digital revolution and the importance of artificial intelligence (AI) will increase further in future. He said, “After 20 years from today, machines will be more accountable than humans. In such a situation, we have to motivate our students towards technology, electronics and science. ‘
