In Jomato Quick Service, users used to give a ready-to-eat food option within 15 minutes within a radius of 2 km.
Food delivery platform Jomato (ETARANL) has closed Quick delivery service in 15 minutes. This feature was launched four months ago. It was introduced in metro city like Bengaluru, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Mumbai with heavy advertisement.
Zomato Quick used to give users a ready-to-eat food option within 15 minutes within a radius of 2 km. The company CEO Deepinder Goyal recently stated that the lack of restaurant partners and the lack of product-market fit (PMF) were faced by challenges in the Quick delivery service.
Earlier in 2022, a 10 -minute delivery service named Jomato Instant was also closed. It was replaced by Jomato Everyday. But later the Everyday Service was also removed from the app.
Attempt for the second time, now focus on Bistro of Blinking
Jomato tried to step into the Quick Food delivery market for the second time. As of March, Quick Service was 8% of the total order. After closing it, Jomato is now focusing on its subsidiary company Blinkit Bistro app.

In December 2024, the company’s Quick-commerce subsidiary Blinkit launched ‘Bistro’. With this platform, the company promises to deliver snacks, miles and beverages in 10 minutes. Earlier, Jomato’s Rival Jepto unveiled Jepto Cafe.
This app of Jomato came after Swigy’s Swiggy Bolt and Jepto’s Jepto Cafe in the Instant Food delivery segment. Right now all these apps do not sell proper miles, but sell readymade food items and snacks such as samosas, sandwiches, coffee, pastries and other items.
Profit reduced by 57% on annual basis
Jomato made a profit of Rs 59 crore in the third quarter of FY 2024-25. However, it has decreased by 57% on an annual basis. In the same quarter of a year ago, the company had a consolidated profit of Rs 138 crore.
Jomato’s operational revenue rose by 64% to Rs 5,405 crore in the October-December quarter. In the third quarter of FY 2023-24, Jomato generated a revenue of Rs 3,288 crore. The amount from selling goods and services is called revenue or revenue.
