SP Mamta Gupta suspended 6 policemen
SP Mamta Gupta has suspended five policemen including the DST (District Special Team) in-charge. SP has taken strict action against taking bribe in the case of the team sent to take action on illegal gravel and has suspended six personnel including SI of DST.

The SP has given a strict message to the district police that bullying regarding law and order will not be tolerated. According to the information received from the police department, the District Special Team was sent to the spot to take action against those involved in illegal gravel mining and transportation in areas like Surwal etc. After reaching the spot, the DST team did not take any action and returned without taking any action after taking service charges. Whereas as per the instructions of the SP, strict action was to be taken against those involved in illegal gravel mining and extraction.
6 policemen including SI suspended
When the SP came to know that the people involved in illegal gravel mining and extraction were being released without taking any action after taking service charges, he suspended five people including the SI of the DST team. Those suspended include District Special Team SI Punjab Singh, Constable Udayraj, Trilokchand, Akhilesh Kumar, Andaram and driver Iqrar Ahmed. During the suspension period, their headquarters has been shifted to Police Line Sawaimadhopur.
