Principal of the college, Prof. Nimali Singh said that it is necessary to awaken people to build a gender equal and inclusive society. Ruwa President, Dr. Shashilata Puri said that violence against women is also an issue of human rights violation. Everyone will have to make joint efforts to build a healthy and safe society. The keynote speaker of this program, Prof. Lad Kumari Jain, said in her statement that women and girls have to be legally aware.

Dr. Sanjula Thanvi gave information about the constitutional provisions related to women’s safety. Prof. Roopa Manglani explained various case studies of domestic violence with the acting of girls so that people could be made aware in an easy manner.
