
Amit shah: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Tuesday that agreements with banned organizations have brought peace and prosperity to Tripura.
Addressing the appointment letter distribution program of the Tripura government in Agartala through online medium from New Delhi, Shah said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) coalition government in the state has rule for several decades of Congress and Left Front in the last seven years. Has achieved more achievements in comparison.
He said, “Three agreements with banned organizations in the last 10 years have brought peace and prosperity to Tripura.”
The Union Home Minister said that there is no militant left in Tripura at present, as all members of militant organizations have surrendered. He said, “Bru people have been permanently settled in Tripura and the government is providing them education, health and livelihood.”
BJP leaders have been insisting that in the last few years, land, air and rail connectivity between Tripura and the rest of the country have improved. The BJP -led coalition has been ruling the state since 2018. Shah claimed that the pace of development in the northeast region has increased under the Narendra Modi -led government at the Center. He said, “Earlier Northeast was synonymous with blockade, drugs, weapons smuggling and clashes, but now the region is known for development, contact, investment and agriculture. Union ministers have visited the region 700 times under Modi’s rule. ”
Shah thanked Manik Saha Sarkar for completing the recruitment campaign for 2,806 posts of ‘Multi-Tasking Staff’ (Group D) without any discrimination. Chief Minister Saha said that his government is working hard to create jobs not only in government but also other areas.
He said, “16,451 vacant posts have been filled in various government departments while maintaining full transparency in the last seven years. Apart from this, adequate recruitments have also been made on the basis of outsourcing and contract. ”
He said, “The government has taken initiative to ensure more employment for the youth in the government and private sector.” Saha said that about nine lakh people are directly or indirectly associated with cooperatives.
