On the other hand, due to cold wind, the maximum temperature in the cities fell to 5 degrees Celsius on Monday. Due to weak sunlight and light mist in the sky, cold winds prevailed in the afternoon also. In many cities including Ganganagar, Churu, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Udaipur, Kota, Jaipur, Ajmer, the temperature (Monday) did not reach 23 degrees Celsius.
According to Meteorological Center Jaipur, the coldest day during the last 24 hours was in Sikar, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 19 degrees Celsius. In Hanumangarh and Fatehpur also the maximum temperature of the day was around 20.4 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature of 25.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Barmer. It was extremely cold in Jaipur last night due to strong cold wind. The maximum day temperature here did not go above 22 degrees Celsius.
Night temperature reached 5 degrees The night minimum temperature dropped below 7 degrees Celsius in Udaipur, Karauli, Baran, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara. All these cities remained colder than Sikar in Shekhawati last night. Yesterday the minimum temperature was 5 degrees Celsius in Bhilwara, 5.2 in Udaipur, 6 in Chittorgarh, 6.3 in Baran, 6.4 in Karauli and 6.7 degrees Celsius in Jalore.
The mercury fell 5 degrees below normal Due to cold wind in the surrounding districts including Shekhawati, the day temperature has fallen 5 degrees Celsius below the average. This includes Jodhpur, Phalodi, Bikaner, Churu, Udaipur, Sikar, Kota and Ajmer.

Alert for children and elderly people with respiratory and heart diseases After the severe cold in the state, health experts have also asked children, elderly people and patients suffering from respiratory and heart diseases to remain alert. These people have been asked not to come out of their homes in the early morning and evening (after sunset). Elderly people and heart patients have been advised to consume lukewarm water in the morning and evening, so that the body temperature can be controlled.
