India Pakistan News: After the exact military attacks conducted on 7 May 2025 under Operation Sindoor on behalf of India, the restlessness within the Pakistan Army and the government is clearly visible. While the Pakistan government is trying to respond to the border shelling and missile attacks, its retired military officers themselves are assuming that their military strength is weakening in front of India.
In a video clip aired on Pakistan’s Don TV, former Air Marshal Masood Akhtar expressed serious concern over Pakistan’s military situation. He said, “India has an army of 16 lakhs, we have only 6 lakhs. No ‘Gajwa’ can save us. ” He also admitted that India had planned a massive attack four times, but there is no preparation or reply in Pakistan.

Operation Sindoor: India’s measured military action
9 terrorist bases located in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) were targeted in Operation Sindoor started by India on 7 May. In this attack, at least 100 terrorists associated with banned organizations like Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen have been confirmed.
Jaish chief Masood Azhar accepted death
The Pakistan government tried to promote this action of India as ‘attack on citizens’, but the acceptance statement of Maulana Masood Azhar, the kingpin of Jaish-e-Mohammed, exposed this lie. Masood Azhar himself admitted that 10 of his family members and four top colleagues were killed in India’s missile strike
Opposition support
Opposition parties, usually criticizing the government’s military action, also unitedly supported Operation Sindoor. Zad (U) leader Sanjay Jha said that the camps responsible for every major terrorist attack in India after 2001 have been abolished. The resistance front should be declared as an international terrorist organization.
Pakistan’s response
The Government of Pakistan is now resorting to shelling and drone attacks in India’s reply, but the reactions coming from within the country are showing that the Pakistan Army is internal nervous. The nation’s security strategy is unbalanced. Political leadership seems to be directionless.
