The Indian Super League (ISL) football match played here on Wednesday between Hyderabad FC and Kerala Blasters FC was released on a 1-1 par.
Dusan Lagter scored a goal in the seventh minute to give Kerala Blasters FC an edge but in the last moments of the first half (45th minute), Sourav Kumar’s ‘bicycle’ managed to parked the domestic team with a goal.
Hyderabad FC missed an easy opportunity to lead in the 52nd minute when Brazilian striker Andre Alba could not convert a penalty kick into goals. This was the last league match of the current season played at the GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium. Hyderabad’s midfielder Ayush officer was adjudged Player of the Match for a strong performance.
Kerala Blasters FC came from ninth to eighth in the table with eight wins, five draws and 11 defeats in 24 matches, while Hyderabad FC remains 12th in the table of 13 teams with four wins, six draws and 18 defeats in 23 matches.
