The Pakistani market fell 3.7% on the next day of the Pahalgam attack i.e. 23 April.
The Pakistani market declined on 7 May today after the air strike by India at 9 locations of terrorists in Pakistan and PoK.
Pakistan’s stock market Karachi-100 index fell 3,556 points (3.13%) to close at 110,013. It had a decline of about 6% in early trade. The Pakistani market has fallen by 4% after the Pahalgam attack.
No effect on Indian market
The impact of the late night air strike within Pakistan and POK did not show on the stock market. The Sensex climbed 106 points to close at 80,747 levels. The Nifty also rose by 35 points. It closed at 24,414 levels.
Operation Sindoor- 9 terrorist locations targeted
India did an air strike at 9 terrorist bases in 7 cities of Pakistan at half past one on Wednesday night. More than 100 terrorists have been killed in this.
This counter -action of India has been taken 15 days after the Pahalgam attack and has been named ‘Operation Sindoor’.
The name is dedicated to women whose husbands were murdered by terrorists on 22 April in Pahalgam.
Pakistan got support of China-Turkiya
A spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry expressed concern over India’s air strike on 7 May. He said that India’s military action is unfortunate. We are worried about the current situation.
The spokesman said that China opposed all forms of terrorism. We appeal to both sides to prioritize peace and stability. Take restraint and do not take steps that make the situation more complicated.
At the same time, Turki Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan also expressed solidarity by calling Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar.
Israel said- India right to self-defense
Israeli Ambassador to India, Ruveen Azar, has supported India after Operation Sindoor. He said- Israel fully supports India’s right to self-defense. Terrorists should know that they will not find any place to hide from their disgusting crimes against innocent people.
