Imran Masood targeted Kejriwal
Imran Masood said, ‘When the double engine government of BJP cannot ensure the safety of celebrities like Saif Ali Khan, what can the common people expect?’
Taking aim at Arvind Kejriwal, Congress MP Imran Masood said, ‘It is surprising that Kejriwal, who did not care about the Muslims of Delhi in the last 10 years, is worried about the Muslims of Mumbai.’
‘An attempt to woo Muslim voters’
Masood alleged, ‘The question arises that you will speak about the law and order of Mumbai, but not about Delhi. Today you did PC on Saif Ali Khan case in Delhi. Tried to woo Muslim voters by taking his name. But when there was violence in Jahangirpuri and bullets were fired openly, you did not even say a word.
He further took a dig at the former Chief Minister of Delhi and said that it is good. If not in Delhi, at least he (Kejriwal) is concerned about the Muslims outside Delhi.
What did Arvind Kejriwal say?
AAP chief Kejriwal had said in PC on Thursday that when the BJP’s double engine government cannot ensure the safety of a celebrity like Saif Ali Khan, then what can common citizens expect? He had said, ‘Such attacks are not possible. This is not a new thing. Earlier, there was firing outside the house of actor Salman Khan. The murder of BJP’s alliance partner Baba Siddiqui reflects the law and order situation in the country.
During this, Kejriwal demanded resignation over the attack on Saif Ali Khan and said that if the BJP led central government cannot protect our borders, country, national capital and people of India, then it should resign.
