Ranji Trophy 2025 Winner Prize Money: Vidarbha, captained by Akshay Wadkar, has won the Ranji Trophy 2025 title. Vidarbha was declared the champion on the basis of an edge in the first innings after the final match was drawn against Kerala. Player of the match batsman Danish Malewar was selected. He scored 153 in the first innings and 73 runs in the second innings. Karun Nair also scored an important innings of 86 runs in the first innings, he scored a century in the second innings. This is Vidarbha’s third Ranji Trophy title.
In the Ranji Trophy 2025 final, Kerala won the toss and invited Vidarbha to bat. Vidarbha scored 379 runs on the strength of Danish Malewar (153) and Karun Nair (86). Kerala scored 342 runs in the first innings. On the basis of the first innings, Vidarbha had a lead of 37 runs.
Under the rules in the Ranji Trophy, if the title ends on the match draw, then the team which has the most runs in the first innings is declared the winner. In this way Vidarbha won its third Ranji Trophy title.
Ranji Trophy 2025 Winner Prize Money
Vidarbha team became champion, it rained money. The BCCI gives Rs 5 crore to the Ranji Trophy Champion team as a prize money. The BCCI gave Rs 3 crore to the runner-up team (Kerala) as a prize money.
Former BCCI secretary and currently ICC chairman Jai Shah increased the prize money in the domestic cricket tournament last year. Both teams, which were out of the semi-finals of Ranji Trophy 2025, received Rs 1-1 crore as a prize money.

Harsh Dubey became Player of the Tournament
Harsh Dubey, the bowler in the Vidarbha team, took 3 wickets in the first innings of the final match. He took a total of 69 wickets in 10 matches played in the tournament. The Ranji Trophy was voted the best player of 2025. Vidarbha batsman Yash Rathore was the highest run -scorer in the tournament, he scored 960 runs in 10 matches.
Talking about Karun Nair, he also impressed a lot. Nair scored 863 runs in 16 innings of 9 matches.
