Balotra police has arrested a thief who stole gold and silver jewelery worth lakhs of rupees from the house. It took about 10 months for the police to succeed in catching the accused. According to the police, Mehmood had given the report on 12 February 2024. In which it was told that on the night of 11th February, thieves broke the locks of my house on Mungada Road behind Mohammedan Ground and entered inside. Gold and silver jewellery, cash and other valuables were stolen. The police registered a case on the report and started investigation.
Balotra police station officer said- Reached the theft site and inspected the spot. They started searching for the thieves by interrogating nearby people and scanning CCTV. Technical and traditional police raided different places and interrogated the suspect. During this, Asif Ali alias Jagu son of Mohammad Aslam resident of Imam Hajam Road, Kabir Nagar Sursagar Jodhpur was detained. He was arrested after he confessed to the crime. The stolen goods were recovered from the accused. After interrogation he was presented in the court. Sent it from there. A case is already registered against the accused in Balotra police station. ASI Purkharam and driver constable Farsaram were involved in the action.
