Amit Gupta was working as the regional head of Qatar and Kuwait in Tech Mahindra. He was in this role for the last three years and had a total of more than 12 years of experience in this company. Earlier, he also worked as a senior sales manager and client partner in the company. The career of Gupta has also been in big companies like Nucleus Software Export and Infosys. He has received B.Tech in Computer Science from Malivaya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur and MBA from International Management Institute Delhi. Amit’s wife’s name is Akanksha Gupta and after marriage, he decided to settle in Qatar in August 2013. According to his LinkedIn Profile, in April 2022, he was appointed as the Region Head of Tech Mahindra. Gupta’s family says that he is innocent and has been incorrectly implicated. Since the arrest of Gupta in this case, his family and Tech Mahindra have claimed that the allegations against Gupta are false and they are being implicated.
The new diplomatic challenge for India
Earlier, in 2022 Qatar arrested eight Indian naval officers, who were later sentenced to death. However, he was released due to hard work and efforts of the Indian government.
