Officers showed around 500 fake borings on the land not acquired for the Paniyala-Barodamev Expressway and waived off the excess compensation of Rs 35 crore. After the non-acceptance notification, it was written to stop illegal construction on the land immediately. But despite the letters, not only did the boring work continue, but the broker also took a guarantee from the officers that nothing would happen. That’s what happened. During a month’s investigation, Bhaskar found information about recording of deals between brokers and farmers and more than 500 fake borings in a total of 45 km of highway in 55 villages. These were carved after boring receipt notification.
1 NHAI did illegal boring The Project Director of NHAI Sohta sent 4 letters to Alwar Collector and ADM in the last 2 years and informed about the cases of issuing fake awards on unclaimed land. PD clearly wrote in the letters dated 7 March 2022, October 2021, 15 February 2022 that illegal boring is taking place on the unused land of Paniyala-Alwar Barodamev Expressway. For which no compensation should be given. In this, complete details of 21 such cases were given, after which NHAI wrote in the reminder dated 23 March 2022 that despite the information, boring itself has remained. Make them stop.
This has not come to my knowledge. If fake awards have been issued, we will get them investigated. Fake awards will be cancelled. If such award money is deposited in any account, that too will be recovered. The person concerned can also file an appeal in the Arbitrator regarding the wrong award.
